    Ralph Lemon invited seven artists to luff that modern wind. That canon and those dances inspired an entanglement of dance and art history at the Museum and the planning of a group of books, tendentiously titled “Modern Dance,” as the child of that weird, rich coupling.   Drawing by Ralph Lemon.
